Delete one list
- On the Lists screen, swipe left on the list and tap Delete. Or open the list and choose Delete list from its ⋯ menu.
- Archived lists: open Archive, swipe left on the list and tap Delete.
- With iCloud sync on, the list is also removed from iCloud and your other devices.
The app keeps the last copy of a deleted list in its private storage on that iPhone as a safety net. It isn’t synced or shown anywhere, and it is removed when you delete the app.
Delete one account or card
Tap the wallet button on the Lists screen, open the account, tap Edit, then Delete account. Rows that used it keep their amounts. A card photo is removed with the account, or on its own with Remove photo.
Delete everything on an iPhone
Delete the app: touch and hold the CalcOwlator icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App. This removes all lists, accounts, card photos, settings, deleted-list copies and widget data from that iPhone.
Two things it doesn’t touch: backup files you exported yourself, and older iCloud or computer backups of your whole iPhone, which keep a copy until they’re replaced or deleted.
Delete everything from iCloud
Only needed if you turned on iCloud sync with Pro.
- Turn off sync first, on every device. In CalcOwlator, open Settings and turn off iCloud sync. A device that still has sync on will upload its lists again after the iCloud copy is removed.
- On your iPhone, open Settings › your name › iCloud, then open the storage management screen (called Manage Storage or Manage Account Storage, depending on your iOS version).
- Choose CalcOwlator in the list and delete its data.
If you’d rather keep the lists on one iPhone, leave the app installed there; turning off sync doesn’t remove anything from the device.
Purchases
Purchase records belong to your Apple Account and are kept by Apple, not by me. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription; cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
