CalcOwlator is made by Raiyan Asaral and licensed to you through the App Store under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). The Standard EULA is the licence agreement for the app. This page explains how purchases work and adds a few plain-language points. If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA wins.
CalcOwlator Pro
CalcOwlator is free to download. CalcOwlator Pro is an optional in-app purchase that removes the free limits and adds iCloud sync, the dashboard and month-by-month history, receipts split into separate rows, accounts in other currencies, and account balances in formulas. It is offered as:
- Pro Monthly, an auto-renewing subscription billed every month.
- Pro Yearly, an auto-renewing subscription billed every year. It starts with a one-week free trial if your Apple Account is eligible.
- Pro Lifetime, a one-time purchase that keeps Pro on your Apple Account for good, with no renewals.
The price for each is shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy.
How subscriptions renew
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- A subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- If you start a subscription during a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends when the subscription starts.
Restoring and refunds
Pro is tied to the Apple Account you bought it with. On a new device, open the app’s Settings and tap Restore purchases. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple; you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The free version
Without Pro you can keep up to 5 lists (a stack of months counts as one) and 5 links between lists. If Pro ends, nothing you’ve made is locked or removed: you keep every list, and only adding more than the free limits asks you to upgrade. iCloud sync stops until Pro is back.
Your lists
What you put in CalcOwlator is yours. It is stored on your device, and in your own iCloud if you turn on sync, as described in the privacy policy. Keeping your own backups is up to you; the app can export one from Settings.
Figures and advice
CalcOwlator works out totals from the amounts and links you enter, and shows how it reached them. It is a calculator and a record, not financial, tax or legal advice. The results are only as right as what goes in, so check figures that matter before you rely on them.

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
